Resumen del libro: El Programa Ciudadanía y Gestión Local, Un estímulo a la Innovación, presenta en este libro uno de los frutos más importantes de su primer año de trabajo. En la búsqueda de experiencias organizativas que desde el nivel local desarrollan prácticas innovadoras de construcción de estado y ciudadanía, el programa hizo un llamado a lo largo y ancho del país a todas aquellas iniciativas que creyeran encarnar dichas prácticas. Tanto en número como en diversidad, la respuesta a este llamado excedió con creces las expectativas que se tenían considerando las limitaciones que ofrecía el llevar sólo unos meses de existencia como programa. De una u otra forma, esta acogida refleja la existencia abundante tanto de nuevas y diversas fórmulas de gestión pública ahí donde el estado es más cercano a la vida cotidiana de la comunidad, como de distintas modalidades asociativas por parte de esta última. Provengan del estado o de la sociedad civil, dicha  respuesta refleja asimismo la búsqueda de instancias de reconocimiento y apoyo de parte de los actores que impulsan las distintas iniciativas. Este libro da a conocer cada una de estas fórmulas organizaciones, al mismo tiempo que muestra el gran significado que ellas adquieren cuando son vistas en conjunto.

Summary of the book: The Citizenship and Local Management Program, an incentive for Innovation, presents in this book one of the most important products of its first year of work. In the search for organizing experiences that from the local level develop innovative practices of state and citizenship construction, the program made a call throughout the country to all those initiatives that believe that they embody the said practices. Both in number and in diversity, the answer to this call fully exceeded the expectations that considered the limitations faced by the initiative, only a few months existent as a program. In one way or another, this reception reflects the abundant existence both of new and diverse formulas of public management where the state is more close to the daily life of the community, as of the various associative categories on the part of this last one. Whether it comes from the state or from civil society, the said response also reflects the search for instances of recognition and aid on the part of the agents that propel the distinct initiatives. This book allows getting to know each one of these organizational formulas, at the same time showing the great significance that these attain when they are seen as a whole.
